Highland Film Group Boogies To ‘The Baytown Disco’ For Foreign Sales: Cannes
By NANCY TARTAGLIONE, International Editor | Wednesday, 9 May 2012 20:10 UK
Los Angeles, Calif. May 9, 2012 – William O. Perkins, founder and President of LLeju Productions announced today that Highland Film Group (HFG) will handle international sales for THE BAYTOWN DISCO starring Academy Award Winner Billy Bob Thornton, Eva Longoria, Paul Wesley, Andre Braugher, Clayne Crawford, Travis Fimmel, Daniel Cudmore, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster beginning at the Cannes Film Festival.
Perkins, through his LLeju Productions banner, optioned the script, controls the rights, financed and produced. Robert Teitel from State Street Pictures is producing alongside LLeju Productions. Barry Battles directed the blacklisted script he co-wrote with Griffin Hood, which was shot on location in Louisiana. WME is representing the North American rights.
THE BAYTOWN DISCO is a wickedly playful, high-velocity action-comedy in which three infamously ruthless Alabama brothers find themselves on the wrong side of crooked cops, relentless Feds, mad mobsters, road pirates, tomahawk-wielding bikers, tricky femme fatales and an unforgettable cast of characters as colorful as they are lethal when they finally try to do a single good deed.
Highland Film Group (HFG) is an independent production and sales company that acquires and distributes quality filmed entertainment across multiple platforms to worldwide audiences. Formed in 2010 by Arianne Fraser, HFG has recently acquired titles such as SOMEDAY THIS PAIN WILL BE USEFUL TO YOU starring Lucy Liu, Marcia Gay Harden and Ellen Burstyn and REVENGE FOR JOLLY! with Ryan Phillippe and Kristen Wiig.

Music Monday here at Team Sexy Volturi Guard
This is my first time blogging for Team Sexy Volturi Guard, so I thought to start with the top ten from over the weekend, and pick my favorite to share.
As we can see the artists are varied in genres, for me it makes the decision even harder. From Pop to Indie, Boy band and Katy Perry, even Justin Bieber or as I refer to him, Justina.
Personally if it were up to me One Direction, and Justina would be out by default until all members hit puberty, but that is a different blog for a different day isn't it.
So below we have America's top ten is: (As found at http://www.at40.com/top-40/chart/21834 for May 05)
1 Fun. We Are Young feat. Janelle Monae
2 The Wanted Glad You Came
3 Katy Perry Part of Me
4 Kelly Clarkson Stronger
5 Flo Rida Wild Ones feat. Sia
6 Nicki Minaj Starships
7 David Guetta Turn Me On feat. Nicki Minaj
8 Calvin Harris Feel So Close
9 One Direction What Makes You Beautiful
10 Justin Bieber Boyfriend
And without further babbling on my part I will reveal my personal pick. I want to add I did listen to almost every song (refuse to listen to Justina or 1Direction). My choice is also the number one choice in America.
